I will be completing my internship at DivaLani Style. They are located in Tukwila, Washington, near Southcenter mall.
DivaLani as a high-end boutique that offers styling services to professional women. During my internship, I will be assisting with visual merchandising, such as window displays and store layout, social media, and styling. I will be working with my manager to create displays and take our ideas from concept to completion.
One of the things I am most excited about for this internship is working with social media. I am well versed on personal platforms but am excited to learn how a business' social media differs in how it is run. I am also looking forward to learning about google analytics and other methods of tracking hits on social media. Another learning experience that I am looking forward to is how businesses create their window displays and the processes they go through.
I will apply the knowledge that I have learned from classes in my major to this internship in my various roles. Classes such as style principals, trend analysis, and principals of retailing have prepared me to complete my tasks at DivaLani.
